Support

Email [email protected] with your app version, device model, iOS version and a redacted description of the problem. Never send passwords, private keys, API tokens or unredacted production logs.

Connect your server

  1. Add a Linux server you own or are authorized to manage. Enter its hostname or IP, SSH port and username.
  2. Choose password authentication or import an authorized OpenSSH Ed25519 private key. Enter its passphrase if encrypted.
  3. Compare the presented host fingerprint with your provider console or another trusted source before accepting it.
  4. Refresh health, then open your server tools or SSH terminal.

Why does password login fail?

Many Ubuntu VPS accounts, especially root, accept keys only. A hosting-panel password may not be an SSH password. Use a private key whose public key is authorized for the selected server account. The app currently supports OpenSSH Ed25519 private keys, not RSA private keys.

Why is the host fingerprint different?

A changed host key blocks the connection. Verify the server identity independently before replacing a saved connection. Do not accept an unexpected key merely to dismiss an error.

Missing tools or permission denied

Docker, PM2, Nginx logs and security reports depend on the tools and permissions on your server. PM2 processes belong to the selected SSH user. The app does not install software or automatically elevate privileges. Listening ports are local bindings, not proof of internet accessibility.

Using the terminal

Open your server’s SSH terminal and tap the keyboard button. The extended keyboard includes Esc, Tab, Ctrl, Alt and arrows. Use Ctrl then C to interrupt a command. The shell keeps its working directory while connected; leaving the screen or backgrounding the app disconnects it. A server-side tool such as tmux can preserve sessions independently.

Optional downtime alerts

Alerts require a separately configured HTTPS monitor and publisher-managed Apple push delivery. No monitor is automatically provisioned. Direct SSH works without this integration. Check notification permission, monitor readiness and registration in Alerts. Do not share publisher APNs signing keys with customers.

Delete saved information

Use the server options menu to remove a profile and its saved SSH credentials. In build 4 and later, Settings → Privacy & security also lets you clear local activity. Remove credentials before uninstalling; uninstalling alone is not reliable Keychain erasure. Contact your monitor operator about remote incident records.

Read the app privacy policy for encryption, storage, backup and sharing details.
