These terms are a practical draft for CodeKits.shop digital products and should be reviewed by a UK solicitor before relying on them as the final consumer or business contract.
1. What you buy
A purchase grants a limited licence to use the identified source-code package; it does not transfer copyright or ownership of CodeKits.shop intellectual property. Product descriptions state the included files, intended purpose, compatibility information and delivery method.
2. Single-project licence
One purchase permits the named buyer and their employees or contractors to modify the package for one end product under one brand. Contractors may receive access only as needed, must keep it confidential, and may not retain or reuse it for another customer. A separate licence is required for each unrelated product, organisation or client project.
3. Prohibited use
You must not share the download link or source package outside the licensed team; publish the source publicly; resell, sublicense or redistribute the package or a substantially similar starter kit; use it to create a competing source-code template; remove licence records; or claim ownership of the original package. You remain responsible for credentials accidentally committed or distributed in your modified project.
4. Third-party software
Open-source libraries, frameworks, fonts, icons and other third-party materials are governed by their own licences and notices. This licence applies only to material owned by or licensed for distribution by CodeKits.shop and does not override third-party terms.
5. Delivery and download limits
Paid products are delivered through a secure link shown after verified payment and sent by email. Links expire and have a limited number of uses for abuse prevention. Contact [email protected] with the order reference if legitimate access fails. Limits do not reduce rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Digital-content cancellation and remedies
Before checkout, consumers are asked to expressly request immediate digital delivery and acknowledge that the cancellation right may be lost once downloading begins. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory rights or remedies for digital content that is faulty, not as described or otherwise protected by applicable consumer law.
7. Security and production use
Starter code must be reviewed, configured, updated and independently tested before production use. The buyer is responsible for hosting, secrets, data protection, app-store compliance, dependency licences and the security and legality of their modified end product.
8. Support, refunds and liability
The product listing and receipt define included support. Refund requests are assessed under applicable law and the circumstances of delivery and access. These terms do not exclude liability where exclusion is unlawful. For business purchases, any additional negotiated terms must be recorded in writing.
