ServerPilot — SSH & VPS

App Store submission status confirmed by the owner · Not yet publicly available

A standalone native iOS app for managing Linux servers over direct SSH: fleet health, an interactive terminal, Docker and PM2 controls, logs and inspection reports. Submitted to the App Store and awaiting review.

  • SwiftUI
  • SwiftTerm
  • SSH
  • iOS Keychain
  • Optional Node.js monitor

The project

ServerPilot is my standalone SwiftUI app for developers, agencies and server owners who need to inspect and manage Linux servers from iPhone or iPad. Unlike my private CodeKits Admin workspace, it is designed for people to connect to their own authorised servers. It has been submitted to the App Store and is awaiting review; a download link will be added when the public listing is available.

The app combines multiple saved servers, environment filters and sampled CPU, memory, disk and uptime measurements with a full interactive SSH terminal. Docker start, stop and restart controls and PM2 inspection and restart tools sit alongside Nginx logs, processes, login records, listening sockets and host firewall inspection. Available tools depend on the server’s software and the SSH account’s permissions.

SSH connects directly from the device to the selected server, with no CodeKits relay or app account. Credentials use the device-only Keychain, and host fingerprints are verified before trust is established. Profiles use local iOS file protection and may be included in device backups. Terminal sessions close when the app is backgrounded or the terminal is left.

Optional downtime and recovery alerts need a separately configured HTTPS monitor and Apple push setup; a hosted monitoring service is not automatically included. The screenshots below were captured from the real iPad simulator application using its explicitly labelled demo fleet, rather than live customer infrastructure. ServerPilot is the CodeKits iOS app and is not affiliated with the separate service at serverpilot.io.
